BRAC Career Fair
The BRAC Transition Center regularly sponsors Career Fair events. The purpose of the BRAC Career Fair event is to provide an opportunity for BRAC-impacted Department of Defense (DoD) civilian and contract employees (and their spouses and dependants) to have access in one setting to 50 federal agencies and private sector employers that are currently hiring. The event also provides an opportunity for these agencies to have access to experienced, skilled and credentialed workers with security clearances to fill their vacancies. In addition to providing opportunities for these workers to network with employers who are hiring, a series of workshops are also provided to assist the workers in successfully promoting themselves to targeted potential employers and successfully completing the federal application process. The event also includes workshops on using the USAJobs website, understanding the DoD Priority Placement Program, as well as information on starting businesses.
